My job is to make training understandable and repeatable. I coach the technique in front of me, build the program around the person doing it, and use recorded performance to decide what should change next.

BACKGROUND

From Professional Volleyball to Personal Training

My approach comes from both sides of training: years of competing inside structured performance programs and years of coaching people with very different starting points.

A Career Built Around Performance

Before coaching became my full-time work, I competed as a professional middle blocker in Venezuela and Finland. That experience exposed me to periodized strength training, power development, conditioning, assessment, and the daily discipline required to improve over a full season.

I do not expect every client to train like a professional athlete. I use that background to bring structure to ordinary training: a clear goal, appropriate exercises, technique that can be repeated, and progress that is reviewed instead of guessed.

Coaching Since 2013

I began training clients in 2013 and have worked with beginners, adults returning after time away, experienced lifters, older adults, and athletes from several sports. My experience includes personal-training roles at Equinox and Life Time as well as independent and gym-based coaching.

Across those settings, the common problem has been the same: effort without a clear system. Pentagon Strength exists to give each client a plan, direct coaching, and a record of what is actually happening in training.

Education and Coaching Standards

I earned a B.S. in Physical Education and Sports Science from Universidad de los Andes in Mérida, Venezuela. I am also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Precision Nutrition Level 1 coach.

Those credentials support my scope as a coach; they do not turn personal training into medical treatment. When a concern requires diagnosis, treatment, or clinical rehabilitation, I expect the client to work with an appropriate licensed healthcare professional.

How I Coach

The program must fit the client’s current ability, schedule, goals, and available equipment. I look for progress in strength, technique, consistency, and the behaviors that support the stated goal. I do not promise immediate transformations or use a difficult first workout as proof that a program works.

Good coaching is a process of assessing, teaching, recording, and adjusting. That is the standard behind both in-person sessions at ENDGAME and online coaching through the Pentagon Strength app.
